Complications

A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science
Author: Atul Gawande
Subject: medicine
My rating: 4.5*

About the book:
A short collection of stories from a surgeon, about the 'imperfect science' of medicine. The cases are very interesting, and the writing appeals not only to healthcare professionals, it is understandable, simple, without being bland. I enjoyed all his stories and the author's take on the dilemmas he encountered. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to have a look behind the curtains of the fascinating world of surgeries.
