About the book:
This is a story about a woman determined to discover her family mysterious history, bridging Ireland and Newfoundland and several decades in time. It is written by Kate Evans- Irish? Canadian? Newfie? Not sure, as I couldn't find any information about her... I assume she is as mysterious as the book she intended. To me though, this book did not strike any chord; and even if it talks about mystery and search of unknown, it didn't make me curious about the journey. Not sure if it was the prose, the characters or just the storyline. Whatever it was, it was not enough to keep me interested.
